On a bigass 767 now waiting to depart from Dallas. Looking forward to get back to Boston! We were just told that we’re going to taxi out and then sit on the tarmac for at least an hour since there are “weather delays coming into Boston.” Ugh.
AdvoCare Success School was incredible, once again. Extremely motivating. ESPN2 will have the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl on December 28, 2009.
Computer’s back on, we just took off! The delay was much shorter than they anticipated. Props to American Airlines.

Let me tell you a little bit about my shitty hotel experience @ the Sheraton Dallas Hotel (400 North Olive St.). There were little friggin’ gnats in my room, annoyed the hell out of me. Probably just one or two, but when they random
ly start buzzing around your ear it’s no fun. The sheet had a HUGE stain in it when I pulled down the covers to get in bed @ midnight. SO DAMN NASTY. Not sure how the hotel maid service could put that on a bed a
nd think it was acceptable. Yeah, yeah
… I’m sure it was sanitary, it was just a stain, but still. It was so late I didn’t want to call and complain. The ethernet cord for in-room internet access in my room didn’t work, either.. had to have them bring up a replacement. No fridge in the room! Sooo, that was just the first night. When I was able to get some breakfast at the hotel on Sunday I was looking forward to the pancakes that were on the menu, NO LUCK when I got the buffet breakfast. I figured with the buffet I’d get either pancakes, waffles or french toast. They offered none of those options at the buffet! BAHH… definitely not staying at that hotel again & I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The conference rooms (ballrooms) were very nice, though, but stay at another hotel if you ever have a conference there.

thinking back on the overblown, worthless “beer summit” at the whitehouse last week, i can’t help but think of one thing: lip reading
